Privacy notice

  • The MIC Organising Committee collects your name, public credit, contact details and the entry and permission information needed through the registration system for registration management, judging, Competition communications and award administration. If proof of identity or payment details are needed after an award, you will be informed separately.
  • We keep personal information only for as long as needed for registration management, judging, prize administration and the handling of related disputes. After that period it is deleted or anonymised, unless the law requires it to be kept. The term of the licence to use works is handled separately from the retention period for personal information.
  • Only the necessary work, credit, category and award information is published. Identity documents, payment accounts and private contact details are never published. Where minors, sensitive information, disclosure to third parties, cross-border transfer or additional commercial promotion are involved, the necessary notices and consents will be obtained separately.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Do I need an entry number before I start?
No. A unique entry number is assigned when your entry is successfully submitted. A saved draft is not a submitted entry.
May I submit more than one work?
Yes. Register each independent work separately. A series counts as one entry and must not be split into duplicate submissions.
Must I answer in both English and Chinese?
No. You may answer in Chinese or English; the same entry does not need to be completed in both languages.
Can an unpublished classroom project be submitted?
Non-public teaching reviews are not treated as public disclosure under the Rules and Regulations, but the work must still meet all other eligibility requirements. If the publication status is unclear, contact the Organising Committee for a written answer before submitting.
Can I change an entry after submission?
Before the deadline, contact the Organising Committee to change or withdraw a submitted entry. After the deadline, only requested verification or correction materials may be added; the work must not be substantially replaced.
